Rain
Why do you say, "Rain, go away"? I'm important to you. So, thanking me is what you should do! I water your plants, am the calm during your wild rants. I cool you off when you are hot, fill with water an empty pot. Some fall asleep listening to me, so you should just let me be. Sometimes I have a darker side, it's true: I bring thunder and lightning, scarier than a "BOO!" But you should not blame me for my terrifying friends; we're bound together until the end. So, I ask again, and I want the honesty of youth, Why do you say, "Rain, Rain, Go Away"?

Florida Pride
Florida Pride
Many do not know; Or appreciate the wonders Florida has for us that no other can equate.
Florida Pride!
Not many want for parks like the humble Everglades They all flock to Grand Canyon, and throw that park parades.
Florida Pride! So I'm here to sing the praises Of the parks that have been wronged Humble Everglades, Quiet Dry Tortugas, and Myakka, oh so strong.
Florida Pride! Oh, Humble Everglades, with your modest shawl of swamp Where gators hunt and fish swim and baby birds, they romp.
Florida Pride! Oh, Quiet Dry Tortugas, tucked off the Florida coast, Your Fort Jefferson and coral reefs have never shared a boast.
Florida Pride! Oh, Strong Myakka, a diversity you're blessed with. Your river waters never will see a bit of filth.
Florida Pride!
Many, many, do not know and therefore can't appreciate the wonders Florida has for us- it is the perfect state!
